Your next big opportunity starts here Location: Germany or Poland Contract: 3-month contract with IMMEDIATE joining About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Security Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support one of our key client engagements. In this role, you’ll design, implement, and maintain secure cloud environments while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive best practices in security architecture and compliance. What Success Looks Like Design and implement secure cloud architectures leveraging GCP networking and security services. Manage and secure network configurations including VPCs, subnets, routing, peering, interconnects, and VPNs. Deploy and optimize GCP security solutions such as Cloud Armor, Cloud Firewall, VPC Service Controls, IAP, and Cloud DNS Security. Enhance container security in Kubernetes/GKE environments, including network policies and access controls. Automate and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform. Develop and maintain scripts in Python or Bash to streamline security operations. Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure DevSecOps practices are embedded throughout the lifecycle. Ensure compliance with security standards and participate in audits and incident response activities. Essential Skills/Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in German (language requirement). Strong technical experience in cloud security, particularly in Google Cloud Platform. Hands‑on expertise with Linux/Unix systems and automation scripting (Python/Bash). Proven track record implementing and managing IaC (e.g., Terraform). Solid understanding of network and application security principles. Nice to Have Prior experience with DevSecOps or integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer or CISSP.
