Yarde Metals is looking for a Class B CDL local delivery driver to join our fleet & operations team in Mansfield, MA.

Job Responsibilities
Yarde Metals is looking for a Class B CDL Driver to join our Operations Team in Mansfield, MA A Class B Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a a commercial truck to make local deliveries to our customers.
Safely operating flatbed truck.
Deliver material safely and efficiently according to all DOT regulations and company policies.
Conduct thorough pre/post trip inspections.
Load and unload material from trucks.
Secure loads and assure they are within weight limits.
Verify piece count and condition of materials.
Report vehicle maintenance needs.
Report overages, shortages, and damaged material.
Assist with loading and unloading material at points of delivery and pickup as needed.
Complete paperwork legibly, accurately, and completely.
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain a clean driving record.
Perform additional tasks as directed by supervisor or group leader.

Requirements
***This is a SAFETY SENSITIVE position: requires operating heavy machinery.***
High school graduate or equivalent preferred
Class B CDL driver's license and clean MVR
Must be able to read and understand English
Minimum 6 months driving experience strongly preferred
Ability to pass a drug test, physical, human performance evaluation, and background check
Capable of meeting physical requirements of the position
Willingness to work overtime
