*Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility needed for consideration* Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Linux Systems Administrator who is customer service oriented to support a long term contract in support of our client in the Intelligence Community. This candidate will build, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux servers and NetApp storage hardware and software design and implement workgroup-scale networks; build and manage authentication, file-share, and other collaboration servers to support client systems. This is a fully onsite position located in San Diego, CA. Responsibilities Proactively maintain and develop all infrastructure technology to maintain necessary uptime service Engineering of systems administration-related solutions for various operational and project needs Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all managed environments Fault finding, analysis and logging information for reporting and resolving performance exceptions Manage, coordinate, and implement software upgrades, patches, hot fixes on servers, workstations, storage and network hardware Create and modify scripts or applications to perform task Qualifications Experience with NetApp Storage or similar tool (Dell EMC, Pure Storage, HPE, IBM Storage, etc) Knowledge of multiple specialties such as operating systems, storage technologies and peripherals, including working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems administration Ansible, Shell, Perl, and/or PowerCLI/PowerShell scripting Security+ certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire date) Active TS/SCI Clearance (TS with SCI eligibility is also acceptable) 7+ years of alike experience Compensation $150,000 - $190,000 *based on experience* Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Paid Holidays, Sick Leave as Required by Law This job posting opens on 11/18/2025 and will remain open for at least 30 days from the posting date #LI-CB1 Keywords: windows, Security+, secret clearance, active secret clearance, active directory, CompTIA, troubleshooting, monitoring, end user support, red hat, linux, shell, scripting, CLI, VMware, ansible, top secret, intelligence community, intel, san diego, california, TS/SCI, information technology, infrastructure, hardware, redhat satellite, automation, deployment, perl, system admin, system administrator, systems administrator, senior system administrator, senior systems administrator, systems engineer, administrator, windows, active directory, client, storage admin, storage, netapp, netapp storage, netapp cloud storage, #J-18808-Ljbffr
