Ezpada currently employs more than 140 professionals from a wide range of countries.We possess an in-depth understanding of the energy sector, built on many years of trading experience and the continuous expansion of our strategic network.Senior Quantitative Analyst/Developer – Prague (Full-time, hybrid)As a Senior Quantitative Analyst/Developer, you will be a core member of the Power and Emissions Analytics team, which provides analysis and trading ideas directly to our energy traders. This is a critical role focused on taking ownership of our proprietary quantitative models infrastructure. We need a senior professional to drive the professionalization and evolution of our system by implementing robust development standards and building new capabilities that secure our competitive market edge.This role requires a combination of programming and quantitative modeling skills. You will have a significant opportunity to shape the future direction of our power analytics platform.What You’ll Be Responsible For:Ownership: Takes ownership of quantitative models infrastructure, focusing on imposing structure and driving cleanup.Development & Deployment: Develop, deploy, and refine new proprietary in-house models and analytical tools, ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability.Analytical Support: Provide direct quantitative analysis and support to market analysts and traders.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate effectively with IT and Data Engineering teams to specify requirements for data pipeline and infrastructure support.Market Expertise: Continuously build fundamental knowledge of the power and emission markets.What We Need From You:Programming Proficiency: Proficient programmer, capable of maintaining complex projects.
