Preferred qualifications Experience with one or more third-party networking products (e.g., PANW, Fortinet, VMWare Cloud Foundation). Experience in scalable networking design, including high availability, redundancy, fail‑over, and load balancing. Experience troubleshooting networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTP/S), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Experience in customer‑facing migration, including service discovery, assessment, planning, execution, and operations. Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management. In this role, you will work with Google’s customers on cloud networking projects that transform business. You will provide consulting, program management, and technical expertise on customer engagements, while working with client executives and key technical leaders to deploy solutions on Google Cloud Platform. You will also work with Google partners to deliver joint consulting services, providing technical guidance and networking best practices. The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $123,000‑$176,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities Propose solution architectures and manage the deployment of cloud networking solutions according to customer requirements and implementation best practices. Work with customers to design and implement Cloud based technical architectures, migration approaches, and application optimizations that enable business objectives. Work with internal specialists, product, and engineering teams to package approaches, best practices, and lessons learned into thought leadership, methodologies, and published assets. Interact with business, partners, and customer technical stakeholders to manage project scope, priorities, deliverables, risks and issues, and timelines for successful client outcomes.
