Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, Alexa Sensitive Content Intelligence (ASCI) Join us in creating the next generation Alexa devices As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the architecture, design and development of the data, metrics and reporting platform for Alexa Trust. You will architect and implement new and automated Business Intelligence solutions, including big data and new analytical capabilities that support our Development Engineers, Scientists, Product Managers and Executive Leadership with timely, actionable data, metrics and reports while satisfying scalability, reliability, accuracy, performance and budget goals and driving automation and operational efficiencies. You will partner with business leaders to drive strategy and prioritize projects and feature sets. You will also write and review business cases and drive the development process from design to release. If this sounds like a team that you want to be a part of, we want you to apply NOW Key job responsibilities Analyse and report key metrics to senior leadership Detect any anomalies / trends, work with other teams to identify the root causes and report/follow up. Work effectively with customers (e.g., business teams, Data Scientists, etc.) and other internal partners to ensure deliverables meet the needs of the business and team goals. Troubleshoot, research root causes, propose solutions which are scalable and maintainable A day in the life Working in a fun and fast paced environment, with a team of very talented professionals Putting together Business Metrics and evaluating anomalies Trouble shooting and performing root cause analysis for challenging issues Collaborating with other job families like Development team members, applied scientists, data scientists, ops and Product Managers About the team Alexa sensitive content intelligence team enables Alexa to provide policy compliant experiences to the customer. We employ multiple AI models and work closely with a team of talented scientists and engineers. Basic Qualifications Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership Experience building measures and metrics, and developing reporting solutions Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
