Your Accountabilities In The Role: Counts products to ensure accuracy for the customer, as well as maintain accurate inventory and expense control. Ensures all parts are within specifications as described in processes and advises management if not to ensure parts shipped are the highest quality Assembles wire harness products by selecting and cutting wires, looming, plugging in, hand crimping and performing various small machine operation, following specifications, instructions or diagrams.Confirms and applies appropriate labels on the products in a specific location to identify completed parts or product. Ensures all parts are visually inspected for quality and delivery to final inspection (where applicable) for a reliable, on-time quality product delivered to customers on-time each and every time. Position Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalency preferred. Will consider a combination of education and skill. Experience: 2+ years of routine, small piece assembly and inspection work preferred. Functional Skills: Strong math & counting skills; detail-oriented, organized, precise, and accurate in their work. Able to read, comprehend, retain work instructions and able to work with small piece work at a good speed. Able to prioritize and be flexible to move from job to job as priorities change. Technology Aptitude/Skills: Proficient PC skills and able to use tablets/PCs to review procedures and enter data. Language Skills: Able to read/write/speak English fluently; communicates in a positive way.Leadership/Behaviors: Self-directed, highly-motivated, with the ability work independently; Good team player with the ability to work well with others and take advice/mentoring well. Able to initiate, process, and finalize projects to meet the needs of the customer every step of the way. Culture Match: Respectful of team members and policies, goal and customer-focused; has the ability to stay focused on quality, as well as being efficient to produce a high level of output on the job.
