To prospective teammates,
I am the medical director for Providence Medical Center located in Portland, OR. I have been a part of Sound since Sound assumed anesthesia responsibilities at PPMC in November 2023 and have been practicing in the Pacific Northwest for over 20 years. I am proud of the anesthesia practice we have built and welcome interest from physicians coming out of training or desiring a career change. I would like to share more about it, specifically about our people, practice, and purpose, as you consider options:
People- We are a collaborative, caring team whose main purpose is bringing better to the bedside.
- We are a newly established care team that will consist of 21 physicians and 50 CRNAs.
- Most of us like to spend time with our families or outdoors, so a flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we are out.
- Providence Medical Center is a large medical center with orthopedics, general, OB/GYN, vascular, and cancer services.

- We cover malpractice and tail coverage insurance for our PRNs.
