About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Process Safety Lead to join our team. This individual will be responsible for conducting routine technical assignments with some oversight from experienced personnel, performing intermediate calculations under the supervision of a more senior engineer, and solving problems using well-established scientific principles.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and 4-10 years' minimum relevant experience in refining and petrochemical industry. They will be required to travel less than 25% and be able to provide guidance to less experienced engineers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled process engineer to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops small to mid-size projects or proposals

  • Works with designers to develop engineering and design documents as needed for the project

  • Considers multiple solutions and makes good decisions based on good data analysis

  • Recognizes, troubleshoots, and resolves design constraints and issues

  • Applies economic analysis to determine best cost solutions

  • Considers new and developing technologies for innovative, best-cost solutions

  • Serves as point of contact for external or internal customers
