Cedar Ridge Inn is seeking a Maintenance Director with strong leadership skills, hands‑on technical expertise, and a deep commitment to safety and compliance. This role is critical to ensuring our facility meets all federal, state, and local standards, including CMS, OSHA, and NFPA Life Safety Codes. Key Responsibilities Oversee all maintenance operations including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems. Lead and manage the maintenance team; ensure timely completion of all work orders. Conduct and document preventative maintenance in compliance with NFPA 101, NFPA 99, and CMS regulations. Manage vendor relationships and ensure all inspections, servicing, and certifications are current. Maintain the facility's emergency systems (fire alarms, generators, sprinklers) in 100% operational readiness. Participate in survey readiness and lead corrective actions for any citations. Collaborate with administration on capital projects, budgets, and equipment procurement. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or trade certifications strongly preferred. Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. Skilled in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems. Familiar with NFPA 101, NFPA 99, OSHA, and CMS regulations (Life Safety compliance knowledge is a major plus). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset. Will be responsible for managing Housekeeping and Laundry. Must be available for emergency on‑call response as needed. Valid driver’s license required.
