The Power Plant Engineer would support the Power Trading team to evaluate operational activities, propose and plan debottlenecks and beneficial projects, and support Due Diligence and M+A exercises around new Power asset acquisitions.Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:Core ResponsibilitiesMonitor and optimizethe performance of steam turbine units and associated systems.Coordinate maintenanceschedules for turbines, generators, pumps, and auxiliary equipment.Solve mechanical and thermal issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient operation.Coordinate with operations and safety teamsto ensure compliance with environmental and safety laws.Analyze performance datato identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.Develop and implement proceduresfor outages and equipment overhauls.Support outage planning, including scope development, parts identification, and vendor coordination.Capital Project Coordination, help plan and complete plant improvement projects year to year.
