PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced, BC Radiation Oncologist to provide coverage 1 day per week, primarily to manage increased volumes and assist during leave periods of full-time Radiation Oncologists.Join a compassionate and collegial team in a beautiful 35,000 sq. ft. comprehensive CoC-accredited cancer center. The environment fosters a healing atmosphere from the moment you enter.The position involves seeing 3-4 patients daily, focusing on contouring and patient care, primarily treating prostate and breast cancers, with potential cases involving lungs.What you'll love about the opportunityGrowing program focused on delivering regional cancer care with standardized treatment protocolsTeam includes 3 Radiation Oncologists, 2.5 Medical Physicists, 2.5 Dosimetrists, 5 Medical Oncologists, 2 PAs, 1 NPOnsite OCN-certified nursing staff, nurse navigators, social workers, nutritionists, financial counselors, and spiritual support personnelEquipment includes 2 linear accelerators (TrueBeam with Hyper Arc), CT Simulator, with techniques like IMRT, AGRT, SBRT, SRS, LDR/HDR brachytherapyUtilizes Epic EMR, Aria, and Eclipse systemsActive clinical trials and tumor board participationAccess to complementary therapies such as yoga, massage, art, pet therapy, and meditationSchedule designed to support clinician well-beingPart of a large multidisciplinary group with a strong referral baseThe position offers a pay rate of $308.40/hour, including medical malpractice with tail coverage.
