Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the quality control processes for aerospace manufacturing operations.
- Utilize CNC tooling and gear machinery to ensure precision and quality in production.
- Conduct thorough data analysis on quality control metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and maintain Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead the PPAP process to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure adherence to AS9100 standards and facilitate audits as necessary.
- Utilize Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and measurement gauges for quality inspections.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate CAD/CAM software into quality control processes.
- Train and mentor staff on quality control software and best practices.
- Work closely with machine brands such as Hexagon, Gleason, and Hofler to optimize quality assurance processes.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in Gear manufacturing or aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong background in Six Sigma methodologies and quality control data analysis.
- Experience with the PPAP process and AS9100 standards.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and quality control software.
- Hands-on experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and measurement gauges.
- Familiarity with gear machinery and related processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
