This leader will align vision, strategic direction and program implementation globally, with a strong partnership with the CEO, CFO, Office of the CEO, Financial Planning & Analysis and Communications teams.ResponsibilitiesInvestor EngagementDevelop and execute the global investor relations strategy to support Equinix's business objectives and communicate its growth strategy effectively to the investment communityLead the development, in partnership with the CFO/CEO, of investor marketing, media presence, messaging, scripts and internal talking pointsDevelop the investor conference yearly plan to ensure CEO, CFO, E-Team presence and influence within the investor communityLead investor management activities related to complex, crisis-related market responsesOrganize and oversee the planning and execution of Equinix's biannual Analyst Day event, which includes developing messaging strategy and setting long-term guidanceFinancial InsightsLead the quarterly earnings process, including the preparation of scripts, earnings releases, financial reports, and investor presentations to ensure accurate, transparent, and timely communication of financial results and business updatesDevelop and own business metrics disclosure strategies and executionMaintain a deep understanding of Equinix's financials, business strategies, and competitive positioning to effectively represent the companyTranslate business forecasts into digestible investor messages and guidanceAssess investor and market trends and develop recommendations to improve Equinix's position with the investor communityLead Teams and Influence StakeholdersWork closely with the finance and executive teams to provide regular updates on investor sentiment, market trends, and potential opportunities for improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including communications, finance, legal, and product to ensure consistency in messaging and strategy alignmentLead, develop and mentor the investor relations team to foster a high-performance cultureQualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred10+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, or finance with a strong understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, and valuationExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and conciselyStrong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with analysts, investors, and other key stakeholdersProven leadership experience in managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentKnowledge of the technology and data center industryExperience working with or expertise in REIT's a plusPossess a high-level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential informationAn energetic, efficient, and resourceful team leaderSkills and AttributesHighly effective leader who can manage, coach, and develop teams, fostering a trusting and psychologically safe work environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in managing multiple timelines and deadlinesDeep understanding of industry trends and best practicesDedication to promoting diversity and inclusion in company processes, with high ethical standards, and a passion for identifying and nurturing talentAbility to thrive in a complex and dynamic environment, working under time pressure to drive change, make informed decisions, and communicate clearlyCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments, ensuring alignment of recommendations with organizational goals and adaptability to changing circumstancesStrong people judgment, ability to make tough decisions, influence and educate others, work under pressure, and manage time effectivelyEstablish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders across all organizational levels, effectively communicating to drive successTargeted pay range for this position: $298,000 - $446,000 USD / AnnualOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.Equinix BenefitsAs an employee, you become important to Equinix's success.
