As a Technical Director, you will serve as the technical expert who bridges the gap between client needs and BairesDev’s solutions. You will play a critical role in the sales process, engaging with leads and prospects, designing tailored technical solutions, and collaborating with sales and delivery teams to secure new business opportunities. What You’ll Do Meet with leads and prospects alongside the sales team to understand and translate their requirements into clear, digestible documents, articulating the value proposition of our delivery model. Travel to meet leads and attend events, serving as the technical expert in conversations and showcasing our capabilities to potential partners. Engage in technical conversations about software development and delivery at the solution level; determine the right questions to identify solutions and composition of development teams. Collaborate with presales to generate decks and proposals (teams, projects, roles, RFQs, etc.), estimating and recommending approaches focused on team composition and sizing. Provide consulting for best practices in software delivery with expertise in Data and Analytics, Quality, Cloud, Engineering, or AI. What We Are Looking For Ability to travel up to 40% within the United States. 8+ years of experience building software within the SDLC with teams. 5+ years in solutioning/sales/presales/solution‑architecture roles; Manager or Director level desirable. 5+ years of deep experience in a specific SDLC area (language, framework, technology) building and implementing technology solutions. Experience leading teams of software developers or engineers delivering solutions in Cloud, Data, DevOps, or Testing. Subject‑matter expert knowledge in 1–2 verticals with deep domain experience in at least one (desirable). Experience with Cloud/DevOps/Infrastructure. Must be located in the United States.
