The **Manager, Radiation Oncology,** will oversee the day-to-day operation of the radiation oncology centers within Chesapeake Urology. This leader will establish the infrastructure, culture, and systems required to scale this new line of business while ensuring operational excellence and exceptional patient care. This onsite role will be based at one of our Radiation Oncology Centers (Quarry Lake or Gaithersburg) and requires regular travel to all Radiation Oncology Centers and headquarters to maintain alignment and strengthen relationships across teams. **Responsibilities*** Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, patient privacy requirements, and ethical practices.* Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls to ensure consistency and adequate communication across the organization.* Maintain relevant accreditations and certifications to reinforce commitment to high-quality care.* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field preferred* Prior leadership experience in radiation oncology, multispecialty practice, or community-based cancer center operations.* Thorough knowledge of radiation oncology services, clinical workflows, and regulatory requirements.* Demonstrated success in building or scaling outpatient clinical operations.* Strong communication and relationship development skills suitable for leading physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical and administrative teams, and corporate partners.* Experience with budget management, operational strategy, and process improvement initiatives.* Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of outpatient radiation oncology operations, clinical workflows, and business development; leverages expertise to optimize operations and support growth.* Talent Development: Builds strong teams, develop teams, and supports professional growth of clinical and administrative staff.* Leadership & Change: Tackles challenges in launching and scaling radiation oncology services; implements scalable processes and fosters adoption of best practices.* Direction & Alignment: Sets clear objectives and operational priorities for the oncology region; aligns teams to achieve outcomes.* Sound Judgment: Makes timely operational decisions in a growing, complex oncology environment.* Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools, such as video conferencing software, instant messaging platforms, and customer relationship management systems.* Compliance with all security and privacy policies and protocols, including safeguarding patient information and maintaining HIPAA compliance.Actual compensation offered to candidates is based on work experience, education, skill level, and geographic location.
