Key responsibilities include:

* Preparing patients for examination, obtaining vital signs, and documenting chief complaints
* Assisting with clinic procedures and assisting nursing staff with treatments
* Promoting healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education

  2. 8 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM

Requirements include:

* High school diploma or equivalent and one of the following:


  2. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program
  3. Licensure as an LPN
  4. Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program
  5. Attainment of the CCMA certification
  6. One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification


Certifications include CMA, RMA, or CCMA, or eligibility for certification. Certification must be obtained within one year of hire date.
