Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in underground utility construction to oversee multiple complex infrastructure projects.This role is responsible for managing all phases of utility construction—from pre‑construction planning through project completion—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple underground utility projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery from start to finish.Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.Coordinate and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and field operations.Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents.Ensure compliance with project contracts, safety standards, and quality control requirements.Prepare and manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.Serve as primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal stakeholders.Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to plans and timelines.Lead project meetings and provide detailed progress updates to management.Manage project closeout activities including final inspections, punch lists, and documentation turnover.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience).6+ years of experience in construction project management.Strong knowledge of excavation, trenching, pipe installation, and restoration procedures.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.Detail‑oriented and highly organized.Proven ability to manage budgets and drive projects to completion under tight deadlines.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with public utilities, municipalities, or general contractors.Demonstrated success in developing client relationships and winning repeat business.Seniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeFull‑timeJob FunctionProject ManagementConstructionBenefitsMedical insuranceVision insurance401(k)Location: Atlanta, GA | Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
