The Field Technician is responsible for installing and servicing our leading Feed Bin Monitoring devices across the US with primary service responsibility in MN.  Bin Sentry is experiencing significant growth, so there will be frequent travel (paid) to animal producer locations (chicken and swine) across the US.  This role is a vital part of our Operations team and will report to the NA Service Manager.  

Installing our devices is simple.   They attach to the lip of the feed bin opening with a bolt on a bracket using a flathead screwdriver.  We don't service our devices in the field, so the work is always simply swapping devices and connecting them through our app on your phone.

The ideal candidate is a team player than can work autonomously, is an excellent communicator, is organized and wants to grow in a technology company.  This position interacts with customers as part of the installation and service process.  All travel and meals are paid as part of this position.

 

Our culture is a 'can-do' environment.  Someone who wants to 'punch the clock' for 8 hours a day wont' be a good fit.  We work to 'get work done', which means we do what needs to be done and manage downtime when it comes.  The right candidate will enjoy the ability to work hard to get installs done, then have downtime to manage how they wish.   This job requires climbing fixed ladders on feed bins (about 20'), so a comfort working at heights (with a safety harness) is essential.
