Senior Data Scientist – Oil & Gas Please apply on LinkedIn and/or Send your resume directly to: request@tytantech.com Tytan Technology is hiring a Senior Data Scientist with strong Oil & Gas domain experience to support analytics, modeling, and data-driven decision-making for upstream and midstream operations. The ideal candidate combines deep functional knowledge of O&G workflows with hands‑on expertise in statistical modeling, machine learning, and scalable data solutions. Responsibilities Analyze production, drilling, reservoir, maintenance, and sensor/SCADA dataBuild predictive and prescriptive models for O&G use cases such as production forecasting, asset performance, failure prediction, and operational optimizationApply statistical methods, ML techniques, and feature engineering to real-world O&G datasetsConduct exploratory data analysis and present insights to engineering and operations teamsPartner with data engineers to design data pipelines and improve data qualityDeploy models and support continuous monitoring and refinementWork with cross‑functional teams including petroleum engineers, reliability teams, and operationsPrepare clear visualizations, reports, and presentations for technical and non‑technical audiencesSupport client engagements, scoping, solution development, and deliveryMentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices Requirements 6–12+ years of hands‑on experience in Data Science or Advanced AnalyticsMinimum 4+ years working directly in Oil & Gas (upstream, midstream, or operations)Strong proficiency in Python, Pandas, NumPy, SciKit-Learn, and ML frameworksSolid foundation in statistics, time‑series analysis, and predictive modelingExperience working with production, drilling, well logs, SCADA/PI data, or reservoir datasetsUnderstanding of oilfield workflows, KPIs, equipment behavior, and operational challengesExperience with SQL and cloud environments (Azure or AWS preferred)Familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI or SpotfireBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Geoscience, or a related field Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Internet #J-18808-Ljbffr
