If you have experience in design/drafting using Autocad, we have a fantastic position for you as Designer/Drafter at a client company specializing in biopharma/pharma manufacturing in Northampton MA. The position is initially full-time temporary with the potential for permanent for the right person.

Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience (approx, $62,000 to $80,000 annualized)

Schedule: Monday through Friday, standard work week

What you will do:

This position will be responsible for support activities to the Engineering team including single-use design, drawing creation, component selection and sourcing.

Create and modify 3D component models, assemblies, and technical drawings using Autocad
Coordinate with Engineering team to understand project requirements and recommend modifications
Develop single-use component library
Handle document management
Be able to assist with some aspects of design process
Collaborate with other departments as needed to accomplish various tasks

What is essential for the job:

2-5 years previous work experience using Autocad Inventor
Associates or Bachelors degree in drafting from an accredited school is desirable
Experience using an integrated document management system such as Vault
Ability to solve complex problems
Ability to work independently
Strong computer skills
