General Description, Principles, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesGenerate SalesProduce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.Meet or exceed company objectives in all individual sales statistics.Provide consistent, documented appraisals of an associate’s sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities while aligning with company objectives.Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.Control ExpensesProtect company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies.Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage and adhere to wage control guidelines.Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, updating prices, and conducting product counts.Perform proper documentation and record-keeping per company policies and legal requirements.Open and close the store as required, following established procedures.Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.Additional Principles, Duties, and ResponsibilitiesSupervise AssociatesParticipate in training programs, set goals for sales and tasks, and conduct regular follow-ups.Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.Encourage compliance with company policies, including inventory and property security.Perform work of subordinates as needed.Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Required Knowledge & SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.Proven ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss.Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.Standing for up to 100% of work time may be required.Ability to work independently.Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr
