The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) proudly provides the highest quality integrated care for over 800,000 members in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. We invite applications for a part-time specialist in Urology at our South Baltimore and/or Lutherville-Timonium Medical Centers.

In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.

MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.

What You Can Expect:

  • Physician-led and driven practice
  • This is a part-time position caring for patients at one or more of our sites in Washington, D.C., and suburban Maryland.
  • Work schedule and hours are flexible and could include weekend hours if the candidate is interested. There are no call responsibilities.
  • Work in a supportive and collegial environment (group of twelve urologists) alongside a fully integrated team that closely collaborates with in-house surgical and medical specialties.
  • Enjoy access to state-of-the-art equipment, robotics and imaging technology in the office, procedural suites and operating rooms.
  • Our group has general urologists as well as several urologists with multiple areas of expertise and subspecialty training (oncology, robotics, mens health, endourology, reconstruction) making us a strong and well-rounded urology department.
  • Freedom from running an office or calling in prior authorizations

Minimum Requirements:

  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Urology
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, and Maryland
  • Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $216.00 which considers an applicants skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.

Effective July 1, 2025, the starting hourly rate for this position will increase to $228.
