Responsibilities Financial Management: Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and summaries. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies; coordinate with external auditors during audits. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team; foster a collaborative and productive work environment. Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems; implement best practices for efficiency and effectiveness. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making; provide insights and recommendations based on financial data. Labor Productivity: Conduct weekly reviews of adherence to labor standards, including accuracy verification of reported business levels. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting. Skills A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws. Proficiency in accounting software (Oracle preferred) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
