Overview Base pay range: $125,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Gridiron IT. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities 5+ years of experience configuring and managing Unix, Linux, or Windows operating systems, including installing or loading operating system software, troubleshooting, maintaining integrity of and configuring network components, and implementing operating systems enhancements to improve security, reliability, and performance. Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V, and system monitoring tools. Experience working with Amazon AWS cloud technologies, including RDS, S3, ECS and EC2. Experience working with STIGs, patches and firmware updates. Experience with Hypervisor environments - specifically Harvester, SecureView, and SecureOS. Experience with virtual infrastructure and orchestrating the deployments of virtual images and containers - specifically Kubernetes (RKE2/K3s), KubeVirt, Helm, MinIO. Experience with managed switches and their configurations. Experience with server room or data center environments, managed switches and their configurations, and server and end user hardware - including desktop, thin client, or zero client. Able to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. HS diploma or GED. Ability to obtain a DoD IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+, CCNA, or SCCP certification by start date. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in System Administration, Network Administration or related technical field. RedHat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Certification. CASP, CISSP, or CCNA Certification. Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; ability to obtain a Secret clearance is required. An already active Secret is desired. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $125,000 - $180,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
