Endoscopy Technician

North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Endoscopy Technician for a job in Tupelo, Mississippi.

* Assists physicians and nurses in the performance of all Bronchoscopy and pulmonary procedures while providing quality patient care.
* Responsible for the cleaning and reprocessing of endoscopes and other reusable equipment and supplies.
* Restocks and maintains appropriate inventory level.
* Helps in recovery area when not doing procedures.
* All other duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* High school education or its equivalency.
* Must possess a broad working knowledge of Bronchoscopy equipment and pulmonary procedures.
* Basic knowledge of the pulmonary disease process.
* BLS required.
* Basic arrhythmia class is preferred.
* Serves patient population categories of infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.
