Compounding Lab Technician

Compounding Data Entry Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities Compounding pharmacy techniques and medication calculations. Heavy customer and patient interaction via phone. Compute simple formulas using basic mathematics skills. Operate computers, scan guns, tablet counters, and cash registers. Maintain proper drug handling and storage practices. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; high school or equivalent education preferred. Current pharmacy technician registration/certification required. Valid PTCB or NHA license and registration in New Jersey. Pharmacy technician licensure in the state of employment preferred. Basic mathematics skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Effective computer and keyboarding skills. Working knowledge of pharmacy information systems. Strong written and oral communication skills. Strong prioritization skills and ability to make independent and effective decisions. Familiarity with pharmacy practice settings, legal requirements, prescription calculations, drug identification, generic equivalents, drug manufacturing, packaging, labeling, and proper drug handling. One year pharmacy technician experience preferred. Additional Requirements Ability to commute to Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234 before starting work (required). Ability to operate equipment such as computers, scan guns, tablet counters, and cash registers. Compensation & Benefits Pay: $20.25 - $22.25 per hour (tier based on experience).
