Job Title: Lead Commercial HVAC Technician Location: On-site in Skokie, IL Compensation: $45–$55 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Full-TimeOverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Commercial HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with extensive hands-on experience in commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The Lead Technician will take ownership of installation, service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of commercial HVAC equipment, while also mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality work on every job.ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, and maintain commercial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, RTUs, split systems, and control systems.Diagnose and repair complex system issues with accuracy and efficiency.Oversee and mentor junior technicians, ensuring work meets quality and safety standards.Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and effective project completion.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time on job.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HVAC codes and safety regulations.Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and technical expertise.Qualifications7–10+ years of commercial HVAC experience, including extensive work with chillers, boilers, RTUs, and related systems.Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and diagnostic tools.Proven leadership experience or the ability to lead a team in the field.EPA Universal Certification required; additional state licenses a plus.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.Compensation and BenefitsPay: $45–$55 per hour (based on experience)Health InsurancePTO401KHoliday Pay #J-18808-Ljbffr
