Your impact:
- Perform daily inspection of roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Monitor and document construction activities for compliance, schedule, and budget.
- Perform testing of in-place materials as required by the contract.
- Review, prepare, and process contractor payment requests.
- Mentor staff on inspection responsibilities and tasks.
- Maintain client communications and relationships.
- Support asset management, bridge inspection and design teams as needed.
- B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or INDOT Certified Technician
- 4+ years of experience overseeing and inspecting roadway and bridge construction projects.
- Strong understanding of INDOT Standard Specifications, materials sampling and testing, and construction project oversight procedures
- Proficient in AASHTO SiteManager
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must possess valid driver's license.

Work Environment
