OverviewPosition: Knowledge Management Attorney (Tax)Location: New York, NY (Hybrid WFH)Company: Globally Recognized AM 100 Law FirmBase pay range: $255,000.00/yr - $265,000.00/yrA prestigious global law firm is seeking a Knowledge Management Attorney with a background in Tax to join its expanding Knowledge & Innovation team. This newly created role is ideal for a senior attorney looking to transition into a strategic, non-billable position at an AM Law 100 firm. The position focuses on enhancing practice efficiency, driving the use of legal tech and generative AI, and building practice-specific knowledge resources to support attorneys and clients.Responsibilities, qualifications, and firm details are described below.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain knowledge management tools, templates, and resources for Tax groupDevelop systems for organizing internal work product, experience, and market data to support benchmarking, BD, and client serviceLead training sessions on knowledge tools, legal tech platforms, and best practicesIdentify and implement legal tech solutions to improve workflows and practice efficiencyChampion the integration of generative AI and other innovative technologies within legal processesEvaluate and recommend new technology tools tailored to practice group needsPresent on tech-enabled legal solutions to internal and external stakeholdersSupport firmwide knowledge and innovation initiatives through collaboration and educationMonitor market trends and developments in legal tech relevant to Tax areasAdapt responsibilities to align with evolving business needs and group prioritiesQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law school required4+ years of legal practice experience in either:Corporate tax (including private funds or cross-border tax structuring)Deep familiarity with practice-specific workflows, documentation, and deal structuresPrior experience in legal innovation, legal tech, or KM roles a plusExperience working with private equity clients is highly valuedStrong communication, project management, and problem-solving skillsPassion for legal technology, efficiency, and enhancing the client experienceJob DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: Legal Services and Law PracticeNote: This description reflects the role as presented and focuses on responsibilities and qualifications relevant to Knowledge Management within the Tax practice area. #J-18808-Ljbffr
