North Carolina Physician Assistant (PA) Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care Locum Tenens (Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham locations)

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking North Carolina licensed Physician Assistants (PAs) available to join us as a float/supplemental locum tenens practitioner for well-established OccMed/Urgent Care clinics in Charlotte, Raleigh and Durham, NC beginning as soon as possible.

This locum tenens opportunity is available for ongoing full-time, part-time or PRN opportunities between facilities operating Monday - Friday from (7:30am - 7:00pm). If you are interested or have questions about locations and scheduling, we want to hear from you Please use the link below for a quick application.

Opportunity Specifics:

  • Contract Type: Full-Time Locum Tenens
  • Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine
  • Patient Mix: Scheduled and Walk-In Patients (All Ages)
  • Schedule:
    • Varies by Location: Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham
    • Monday - Friday (7:30 am-7:00 pm)
    • NO Weekend Coverage

Core Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat work-related injuries.
  • Perform pre-placement DOT, Public safety, and surveillance physical examinations for varied private companies and governmental agencies.  
  • Evaluate and treat urgent care patients on a walk-in basis.
  • Perform in-office procedures, communicate with employers and provide medical guidance.

Provider Requirements:

  • Current North Carolina State License & DEA
  • Active DOT Certification
  • Must be available to treat patients of all ages
