EB Actuarial is a dynamic and growing team within Equitable. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and institute best practices at a company experiencing rapid and positive change. This director level position will report directly to the Chief Actuary of EB Actuarial and will be a critical member of the leadership team.Opportunities include:Join a dynamic team and help shape a growing businessExposure to Chief Actuary, Business Unit Head, Head of Distribution, etc.Independence and empowerment – you\'ll lead the pricing of our Life and Disability product linesPositively impact decision making on a small and nimble teamKey Job ResponsibilitiesPricing recommendations for manual and experience ratingUnderwriting support for case level pricingRegulatory and compliance filingsPeople management – this position will manage a team of 3-4 junior staff membersKPI development related to underwriting execution, pricing accuracy and claims experienceEngagement with Corporate Actuarial related to Valuation, ERM and profitability modelingEngagement with Sales and Financial Planning teamPricing deep-dives and new product development effortsOther duties as assignedCompensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $190,000. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities.
