Required Qualifications Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants or Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program or Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces or Minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration. Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
