Position Overview The Neurological Institute and Department of Neurological Surgery at Cleveland Clinic is seeking an full‑time Spine/Trauma/General Neurosurgeon to lead its program in the Cleveland Clinic Akron and Canton region. The selected candidate will manage a team covering spine, trauma, and general neurosurgery, work in a Level 1 Trauma Center (Akron General) with reciprocal support from the Level II Trauma Center in Canton, and contribute to the rapidly growing regional program. Key Qualifications American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) BC/BE neurosurgeon with a high degree of competency in spine surgery. Preferred: completed fellowship training in spine neurosurgery. Experience managing a multidisciplinary surgical team and participating in trauma and general neurosurgery calls. Familiarity with state‑of‑the‑art equipment (Brainlab Brain Suite, O‑arm, biplanar angiography) and an established Neuro‑ICU team. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the spine/trauma/general neurosurgery program in the Akron and Canton region. Perform clinical care, educate residents and fellows, and potentially engage in research activities. Participate in general neurosurgery and trauma call rotations. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary of $194,000.00–$250,000.00 (full‑time, 100% FTE) plus an attractive benefits package that includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and academic appointments through the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine.
