PRN Intake CounselorRiver Point Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated PRN Intake Counselor to support our admissions team. The role focuses on comprehensive assessment, triage, and admissions processes for clients in a 24/7 behavioral health facility.ResponsibilitiesPerform all aspects of assessment and admissions procedures for incoming clients.Handle inquiry calls promptly and effectively, communicating with referral sources and providing program information.Execute outside referrals when appropriate and assess mental‑health status for triage.Make patient safety and level‑of‑care recommendations to physicians.Identify insurance benefits, obtain pre‑certification, and complete all admission documentation in Med‑Series 4.Communicate patient safety concerns and key patient information to unit nursing staff and admitting physician as needed.QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.Minimum two (2) years of experience in a mental health setting, preferably in Intake/Triage/Admissions.BenefitsChallenging and rewarding work environment.Competitive compensation and generous paid time off.Excellent medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plans (not available for PRN).401(k) with company match and discounted stock plan.Career development opportunities within UHS and its 328+ subsidiaries.Educational reimbursement and assistance (full‑time employees).EEO Statementh3>All UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
