Mission in Action The Prevention of Sexual Abuse (PSA) Compliance Manager is responsible for the development, coordination, facilitation, and evaluation of program training for assigned programs in accordance with Agency, state licensing standards, CARF accreditation policies, funding requirements, and other federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Educates, trains, and advises, develops, and implements PSA policies and procedures; oversees implementation and ongoing compliance with the Interim Final Rule on UAC Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment standards at care provider facilities. Shift Flexibility Must be available to work two rotating shifts: First shift 6:00 am 2:00 pm; Second shift 2:00 pm 10:00 pm. Flexibility to work weekends is required. Schedules may vary based on program needs. Responsibilities Involved in audits, including preparation and development of corrective action plans to address any identified issues related to sexual abuse prevention. Foster a facility climate that condemns sexual abuse; provide resources and support to programs; and educate staff on how to report incidents. Educate staff on the facility's zero tolerance for all forms of sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and inappropriate sexual behavior. Conduct ongoing announced and unannounced dorm/cottage observations to monitor employee skill application; identify safety issues and training needs; develop performance improvement plans. Attend monthly PSA Compliance meeting; disseminate findings with program leads. Ensure program employee attendance compliance with mandatory sexual abuse/sexual harassment awareness and prevention refresher training. Emphasize zero tolerance through leadership example, management presence, and unannounced rounds. Communicate right of UC and staff to be free from sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and inappropriate sexual behavior. Participate in scheduled PSA audit program; develop and review corrective action plan. Assess and share findings with Senior Program Directors to improve outcomes. Assist in standardizing PSA policies, procedures, and training across programs. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services fields. Two years of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, and compliance issues. Must be 21 years of age or older per licensing requirements. Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze information and translate into empirical data, create scorecards and dashboards, influencing strategic planning and meeting agency goals. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Instructional Design, Training and Development, Organizational Development, or Social Work. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Physical Demands & Work Conditions Requires sitting, looking, and using a computer for long periods. Position works in a child facility and has constant exposure to children. Requires frequent standing, walking, and time in units/cottages. May be required to lift, push, pull, move up to 125 lbs and apply safety intervention with youth that could weigh over 100 lbs.
