OverviewLicensed Nurse-LPN or RN (Part-Time, 1st Shift) at Kisco Senior Living. Provide high-quality nursing services to community residents based on individual service plans and physician orders, promoting residents’ independence and well-being (physical, social, cultural, and intellectual).ResponsibilitiesMonitor residents’ well-being and report changes to the appropriate associate/department immediatelyAssist residents with simple requests or coordinate with an appropriate associate to assistLearn resident preferences to provide exemplary customer service and enhance satisfactionAssess residents to identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needsFollow environmental and safety guidelines per company policy and procedureIdentify and recommend other disciplines needed for quality careDocument evaluation of nursing interventions and resident responsesAssess resident and staff knowledge of disease processes, treatment regimens, and medication administration; assist with care plansProvide resident care activities under the direction of the Care Services Director or Director of Nursing using current nursing standardsAssist with Medication Management ProgramPresent required new-hire training and ongoing skills training for associates and maintain documentationSupport associate recognition, open communication, teamwork, and a positive work environmentSupport the community sales process where applicableMaintain professional appearance and proper uniform and name tagLook for ways to reduce costs and create efficienciesEnsure regulatory compliance and report issues promptlyAdhere to all regulations, laws, and Kisco standards including the Associate HandbookPerform other related duties as requiredWhat will I need to be successful in this role?Graduate of an accredited RN/LPN/LVN programOne year or more nursing experience in a senior care setting preferredAssisted living and/or dementia experience preferredSpecial Requirements/CertificationsCurrent active, unencumbered nursing license in the state of practiceBasic competency with technology, including Microsoft Office and internet-based applicationsAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as neededCompensation and BenefitsPay: $34-$38 per hour, depending on experienceA free meal per shiftHealthcare benefits (Vision & Dental for full-time)Matching 401(k) (full-time)Paid Time OffRewards and bonus opportunitiesContinuous training and growth opportunitiesAbout Kisco Senior LivingKisco Senior Living has been a dynamic, award-winning leader in the senior living industry for over 30 years.
