Director, Ambulatory Operations Finance - Onsite Join to apply for the Director, Ambulatory Operations Finance - Onsite role at Adventist Health Job Description This position will be based at our Adventist Health Glendale Hospital and will be an onsite role. This is a hands‑on operations heavy finance leader role; experience overseeing numerous clinics in a shared service model is required. Candidate must be familiar with operations from a high level and comfortable working in a matrix environment. Job Summary The ideal candidate will bring experience working with a large medical group and excel in building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to achieve shared organizational goals. Act as a Financial Business Partner to the ambulatory business leaders, fostering a partnership built on exceptional service, deep business acumen, and financial expertise. Contribute to sustained business success through identification of opportunities and risks, and drive initiatives to support the Ministry’s strategic objectives. Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned personnel. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Required) Master's Degree (Preferred) Seven years technical experience (Preferred) Five years leadership experience (Preferred) Experience overseeing numerous clinics in a shared service model (Highly Preferred) Five years operations experience (Highly Preferred) Essential Functions Optimize financial performance by identifying and prioritizing business challenges, risks, and opportunities, and developing approaches to address them. Increase long-term success by participating in strategy development, facilitating long‑term financial planning, and developing metrics to monitor performance against strategic objectives. Support efficient planning and forecasting, collaborate with system leaders, and deliver analytics indicating the impact of choices made. Upgrade talent by investing in training, developing opportunities, and acting on feedback. Control planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending changes to methods; prepare department budgets. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Estimated base pay is $153,251 to $229,877. Additional individual compensation may be available through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
