Responsibilities Accountable for day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities. Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience. Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy cashiers within company policies and regulations. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision. Lead and manage the selection, scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technician personnel. Make decisions regarding performance management, including discipline and termination. Assist pharmacist in patient care activities such as patient registration, prescription data entry, medication preparation, counting, and verification where allowed by law. Under pharmacist supervision, administer vaccines, health screenings, and other health services allowed by law. Maintain compliance with Good Faith Dispensing policies and manage inventory and recordkeeping. Drive technology and process rollouts, champion change, and engage the team around action planning. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico). One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting. Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours. Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy and Health System Pharmacy locations). Preferred Qualifications Previous people management/leadership experience. Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation. The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
