Duration: 06 months contract (with possible Temp to Perm.)

Shift: 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM (Monday - Friday)


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree needed.
Reference of Manager and supervisor is needed (Name, contact number and Email), No coworker or any other reference will work.

Key Skill/Knowledge Requirements:

Bilingual : English/Spanish
Strong Oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with all levels of organization
Mathematical ability
Proficient in the application of Purchasing and Planning/Production systems, SAP, interactions of planning, engineering, bill of materials/routes, purchasing, quality, internal customs, warehouse, receiving
Proactive approach
Ability to support multi-site discussions in person at campus sites, walk to each stakeholder

Computer Skills

PC Proficient
Proficient in Excel, Word, ERP Systems, SAP.

Experience

Supply chain experience in parts purchasing and reading of drawings and specs
Experienced ERP/planning systems user desired

Key Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the effective coordination of building packages of information for requesting suppliers to quote on
Track with suppliers the status of quotes and escalate any issues to management
Help connect support functions and suppliers on any information or questions regarding the information to quote on (drawings, volume, other)
- Support setting up meetings for support functions to meet and discuss tracking of quotes and award to suppliers. This to move parts approval and production orders.
- Support and track status of actions with support function on status of part approvals or receipt of parts or documentation to support this (interna functions or suppliers)
