We are looking for a reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to take excellent care of our residents while working together as a team, where you will:
* Advocate for the needs of the residents and/or their families
* Supervise and oversee the work of STNAs
* Ensure that care plans are carried out appropriately
* Perform routine nursing measures, such as vital signs, weights, food intake, and behavior monitoring
* Administer medications and treatments
* Perform diagnostic tests as ordered
* Document resident information in an electronic charting system
* Coordinate resident care in conjunction with the interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
* Effectively make decisions to maximize the best clinical outcome for the resident
* Be accountable for nursing compliance, excellence, and delivery of resident care in adherence to the organization, local, state, and federal regulations
* Complete admissions and discharges in a timely manner, including documentation
* Assure HIPAA requirements are followed at all times

Qualifications:

· Current LPN license in the state of Ohio is required.

· Prior experience in long term care/skilled nursing is a plus, but not required

· All applicants must complete a pre-employment physical as well as a drug and alcohol screen.

· All applicants must have a criminal background check prior to employment.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN

Shifts: 7p-7a

PRN: All Shifts

Pay: $24.00 – 26.50 per hour
