This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, minimizing emissions, and maintaining safe and efficient LDAR operations. The LDAR Site Lead reports to the LDAR Manager and works closely with LDAR technicians and other team members. Roles and Responsibilities: Team Supervision: Lead and guide a team of LDAR technicians in conducting leak detection inspections and repairs, when applicable. Ensure that all LDAR activities are performed safely and in accordance with environmental regulations. Inspection Coordination: Collaborate with the LDAR Area Manager to plan and schedule LDAR inspections at the site. Conduct inspection tasks and ensure efficient execution. Conduct proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment. Emissions Data Management: Collect and document data from inspections accurately and comprehensively. Review inspection results for quality and accuracy before reporting. Assist in the preparation and submission of emissions data reports. Leak Repair Oversight: Coordinate and supervise the repair of identified leaks at the site. Ensure that repair activities are carried out promptly and effectively to minimize emissions. Verify and document the completion of repairs. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and procedures to mitigate workplace hazards. Investigate and report safety incidents, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of safety. Ensure that all LDAR activities at the site comply with relevant regulations and company policies. Equipment and Inventory Management: Maintain and manage LDAR equipment inventory at the site. Coordinate equipment maintenance and calibration schedules. Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of leak detection results. Participate in periodic audits of LDAR activities to identify areas for improvement. Client Interaction: Interact with clients or site representatives as needed. Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional manner. Provide updates on LDAR program progress and results to clients and Area Manager. Reporting and Documentation: Assist in the preparation and submission of site-specific LDAR program performance reports, compliance status reports, and emissions reduction reports. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities at the site. Company Specifics: Complete all assigned tasks as provided by LDAR Manager and/or BAIR Management.
