Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Paralegal to support our legal team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of legal procedures. This role requires executive assistance to the legal team such as calendar management, legal support, documentation, and other business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in case preparation, research, and document drafting
• Organize and maintain files, ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and providing updates
• Provide executive assistance to top legal directors including calendar management, travel arrangements, and other administrative tasks
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case strategies.
• Prepare, review, and file legal documents with courts and agencies, ensuring compliance with legal protocols.
• Coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances, managing calendars for attorneys.
• Handle administrative tasks such as billing, maintaining records, and managing office supplies.
• Work closely with attorneys and other cross-functional teams
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field
• Paralegal certification highly preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years' experience as a paralegal directly supporting legal executives (i.e. CEO or CLO at law firms)
• Proficient in legal research tools and software (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
