Job Description:
The Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Specialist will be responsible for solving business problems, optimizing processes, and bridging the gap between business and IT for the Order to Cash process area. Key responsibilities include business requirements analysis, system design, and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP implementations and operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document current business procedures to identify improvement areas.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to design and implement Oracle Cloud ERP financial solutions.
- Define system scope and objectives through research and analysis.
- Translate business requirements into functional design specifications for IT teams.
- Identify business process changes and recommend software solutions.
- Provide application support to business users, including month-end and year-end reconciliation.
- Develop functional specifications for conversions, interfaces, reports, and extensions.
- Support data cleanup, conversion, and reconciliation activities.
- Review and provide feedback on design specifications created by other analysts.
- Write white papers, solution recommendations, and conduct training.
- Participate in UAT and support testing activities.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
- Equivalent combination of education and 12 years of successful work experience.
- CPA certification is preferred.
Required Qualifications:
- 12+ years of Business Analyst experience.
- 12+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle.
- 12+ years of experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- 12+ years of experience using MS Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- 12+ years of experience with Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite.
- 12+ years as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- 8+ years of production support experience for Oracle EBS/Cloud Applications.
- Expert-level knowledge of Oracle ERP Order to Cash process flows.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in creating functional design specifications for conversions, interfaces, reports, and extensions.
- Expertise in data conversion and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with month-end and year-end Oracle ERP support activities.
