BI Analyst / Project Manager #2443


Position Summary:


Our partner, one of the world's foremost technology giants, is seeking a BI Analyst / Project Manager to join their team. In this role, your focus will be on analyzing operational business data and transforming it into meaningful insights and actionable strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, extract and analyze data from various platforms, and create actionable reports to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate should bring a strong analytical mindset, exceptional data manipulation skills, and a passion for turning data into actionable insights. Proficiency in project planning and execution, along with the ability to work collaboratively to align initiatives with organizational goals, is essential for success in this position.


Experience and Education:


  • Bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical field/experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a BI Analyst/Data Analyst or in a similar data-focused role.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages to extract and manipulate data.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and how to design effective data structures for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to be concise, confident, and hands-on.

Primary Job Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand and identify their data needs and develop strategic projects aligned with organizational goals.
  • Collect and consolidate data from various source systems and utilize data analysis techniques to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to address specific business inquiries and challenges, providing insightful solutions.
  • Develop predictive models and forecasting tools to anticipate future trends and outcomes, helping in strategic planning.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying factors driving business outcomes or issues, assisting in decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Conduct strategic planning initiatives by providing analytical support for their decision-making processes.
  • Document project creation, development, and execution, including scope, budget, and justification, to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver projects efficiently, ensuring all tasks adhere to PMO and company standards.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are met.
  • Generate and analyze status reports, summarizing key insights for stakeholders and management.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying successes and areas for improvement to enhance future outcomes.
