Executive Director

We welcome passionate leaders from diverse professional backgrounds who are naturally outward-facing, proactive in seeking opportunities, and energized by connecting with people and organizations that share our values. * This position does not offer benefits at this time.* Executive Director Tasks: Serve as the organization's primary leader, representative, and spokesperson to the greater community Strategize short-range and long-range program and project goals with emphasis on organizational growth Lead community engagement initiatives and proactively build partnerships with stakeholders Champion storytelling efforts to enhance organizational visibility and support Drive strategic planning for program expansion and organizational rebranding efforts Identify overall resource development goals and lead fundraising planning efforts Establish, maintain, and cultivate relationships with donors, foundations, and other funding sources Support organizational programs and activities through diversified revenue streams Oversee grant writing initiatives in collaboration with grant writing staff Maintain accountability for the annual operating budget and financial performance Participate in recruitment, interview, selection, and evaluation processes for directly supervised staff and key positions Manage day-to-day activities of paid staff Empower and train staff to handle daily operations with autonomy and ownership Ensure adequate cross-training of staff to provide backup capability for all positions Monitor financial performance and ensure fiscal responsibility Work with bookkeeping and accounting partners Oversee financial audits and compliance requirements Prepare comprehensive executive reports for the Board of Directors and Executive Committee Assist with recruitment and orientation of new Board members Attend various Committee meetings as required Maintain strong collaborative relationships with Board leadership Executive Director Qualifications: Previous executive leadership or nonprofit management experience is a plus Grant writing and grant management experience Knowledge of senior services, social services, or healthcare delivery systems Familiarity with Medicaid programs and waivers Demonstrated leadership experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to build relationships, engage community partners, and represent an organization externally Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and resource development Budget management and financial oversight capabilities Strong organizational and strategic planning skills Ability to delegate effectively and empower team members Proactive in nature Comfortable with public speaking and community engagement Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational oversight Passion for the mission of serving vulnerable community members Executive Director Compensation: Flexible vacation time Major holidays off No Benefits Package at this time Only Reviewing Commutable Candidates at this time.
