JOB POSITION: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE
REPORTS TO: WAREHOUSE MANAGER

Vacation: 2 weeks of vacation per year (pro-rated for the first year depending on start date). 5-12 years of service, 3 weeks. 13+ years of service, 4 weeks.

POSITION SUMMARY
Preform general warehouse duties including, picking, receiving, heavy and light packing. Perform tasks that require fork lift training as well as computer skills to process orders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pick items for both production orders and sales orders
- Pack items for either small package shipping or LTL shipments
- Receive items into our system and put away in the warehouse
- Use computer to process paperwork in SAP
- Lift items up to 50 lbs.
- Be able to use equipment to assist in the movement of product (overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Load and unload trucks
- Professional and excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Produce work independently, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- 1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment.
- Understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of standard warehouse practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of MRP systems.
