Join us at razorfish.com.OverviewThe Media Director, Strategy & Planning will lead digital media strategy and planning across a major fashion retail account, with a focus on performance‑driven campaigns that deliver measurable business results. The ideal candidate has a strong background in fashion and retail categories. This role requires a strategic thinker who can connect audience insights with media execution across channels such as social, display, video and search. They will also possess knowledge of the retail media landscape and be able to connect brand media, retail media dollars and paid and unpaid channels to provide a holistic strategy.ResponsibilitiesLead digital media strategy and planning across performance‑focused retail campaigns, ensuring alignment with client business objectives.Partner with clients and internal teams to define performance goals, optimize channel mix, and identify new growth opportunities within retail and fashion categories.Translate data and insights into actionable strategies that drive sales, conversions, and customer engagement.Manage and mentor a team of media strategists and planners to deliver high‑quality work and strategic recommendations.Collaborate closely with analytics, investment, and client leadership teams to ensure campaigns are optimized for ROI and business impact.Qualifications7‑9+ years of experience leading digital media strategy and planning, ideally within an agency environment.Proven experience managing retail media buys across platforms such as Walmart Connect, Target Roundel, Amazon DSP and other retail media networks.Background working with retail and/or fashion brands, with a strong understanding of seasonal trends and eCommerce dynamics.Deep knowledge of digital media channels, performance marketing, and lower‑funnel tactics.Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with the ability to connect audience insights to media execution.Excellent client management, communication, and leadership skills.Experience leading teams in a fast‑paced, collaborative agency or retail environment.Additional InformationPaid Family Care for parents and caregivers for 12 weeks or moreMonetary assistance and support for Adoption, Surrogacy and FertilityMonetary assistance and support for pet adoptionEmployee Assistance Programs and Health/Wellness/Comfort reimbursements to help you invest in your future and work/life balanceTuition AssistancePaid time off that includes Flexible Time off Vacation, Annual Sick Days, Volunteer Days, Holiday and Identity days, and moreMatching Gifts programsFlexible working arrangements‘Work Your World’ Program encouraging employees to work from anywhere; Publicis Groupe has an office for up to 6 weeks a year (based upon eligibility)Business Resource Groups that support multiple affinities and alliancesCompensationCompensation Range: $119,510 – $188,025.
