Inova Mount Vernon is looking for Part Time Perianesthia (PACU) Nurse. Schedule is 2x10 shifts/week.
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) has 13 bays (10 phase 1s & 3 phase 2s) that serve a diverse surgical population including, general, spine, orthopedic, robotics, urology, plastics, gynecology, breast, podiatry, vascular, and ENT. The PACU team members are self-motivated, hardworking and a proficient group of nurses. Nurses care for patients in PreOp, Phase 1 and Phase 2 depending on patient needs.
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital is a 237-bed hospital offering patients convenience and state-of-the-art care in a community environment. Our hospital sits on 26 acres of beautifully landscaped open space, where patients can find moments of serenity in our specially designed gardens. Job Requirements:
- One year of critical care (ICU or ED) or PACU RN experience is required.
- 2 years plus PACU/Critical Care experience preferred.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- ACLS, PALS, BLS healthcare provider certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
