OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Engineer (Kotlin) to join our Android team. Join one of the fastest-growing cybersecurity companies and play a critical role in expanding and architecting Keeper’s Android systems.About the RoleAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will be joining an elite team of technical powerhouses within our Keeper Dev team. Play a pivotal role expanding and architecting Keeper’s Android systems and test case management to deliver a high functioning and enjoyable user experience for the end user. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet both user and business requirements.ResponsibilitiesDevelop secure and scalable solutions for Keeper\'s Android platformsWrite clean and modern code that follows best practices, being proficient in Kotlin and Java codeMaintain clear and detailed internal documentationKnowledgeable about algorithms, and app performance (both speed and memory performance)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions on-timeReview code changes made by team members and provide constructive feedbackTroubleshoot and debug software issues as they ariseResearch and compare similar competitor productsContinuously research and learn about new software technologies and methodologiesQualifications5+ years of experience in developing Android applicationsProficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languagesExpertise in Android SDK and Android StudioExperience with RESTful API design and implementationFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologiesKnowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principlesExperience with unit testing, UI testing and integration testingWilling to learn how to deliver work iteratively and push goals to the finish lineStrong problem solver with focus on code design, quality and architecture, and debugging skillsKnowledge of securing coding standards and encryption a plusStrong technical, written and verbal communication, keeping regular communication with designers and project managers as necessaryAbility to work collaboratively with a group of team membersBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldDue to this role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a “US Person”BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision (Inclusive of domestic partnerships)Employer Paid Life Insurance & Employee/Spouse/Child Supplemental lifeVoluntary Short/Long Term Disability Insurance401k (Roth/Traditional)A generous PTO plan that celebrates your commitment and seniority (including paid Bereavement/Jury Duty, etc)Above market annual bonusesKeeper Security, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and participant in the U.S. Federal E-Verify program.
